Method

Prepare the Burger Patty

  1. 1

    Mix the Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly until the seasonings are evenly distributed.

  2. 2

    Form the Patties

Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape each portion into a patty about ¾ inch thick.

Cook the Burger

  1. 3

    Heat the Grill or Skillet

Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the butter and allow it to melt.

  2. 4

    Cook the Patties

Place the burger patties on the grill or skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side. Flip the patties.

  3. 5

    Add Cheese and Bacon

On the flipped side, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty. Add two slices of bacon on top of each patty. Cook for an additional 4-5 minutes or until the burgers are cooked to your desired doneness and the cheese has melted.

Assemble the Burger

  1. 6

    Prepare the Buns

While the burgers are cooking, toast the burger buns on the grill or in another skillet until golden brown.

  2. 7

    Spread Jalapeno Jelly

Once the buns are toasted, spread 1 tablespoon of jalapeno jelly on the bottom half of each bun.

  3. 8

    Add the Patty

Place one burger patty on each bun, then top with the upper half of the bun.
