Prepare Burger Patty

Mix the Patty Ingredients
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, Cajun seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.

Form the Patties
Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape each portion into a burger patty, about 3/4 inch thick.
Grill the Burgers

Grill the Patties
Place the burger patties on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side. Flip the patties and place a slice of jack cheese on each patty. Cook for an additional 4-5 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the patties reach your desired doneness.

Slice the Tomato and Onion
While the burgers are grilling, slice the tomato into thick rounds and the red onion into thin rings.

Prepare the Lettuce
Wash and dry the shredded lettuce.
Assemble the Burgers

Toast the Burger Buns
If desired, lightly toast the burger buns on the grill for about 1-2 minutes until golden brown.

Build the Burger
On the bottom half of each toasted bun, layer shredded lettuce, the grilled Cajun jack patty with melted cheese, tomato slices, and red onion rings. Drizzle with Orlean’s remoulade and top with the other half of the bun.
