Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Beef Patties

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, and black pepper. Form the mixture into 4 equal-sized patties.

  2. 2

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove from the skillet and set aside on paper towels to drain.

  3. 3

    Cook the Patties

In the same skillet, add olive oil if needed and increase heat to medium-high. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, until they reach your desired doneness.

  4. 4

    Add Cheese and Roast Beef

In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and cover the skillet to melt the cheese. Warm the NOLA-style roast beef in a separate pan or microwave.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Burgers

On each hamburger bun, layer the cheese-topped beef patty, a portion of warm roast beef, crispy bacon, and jalapeños. Top with the other half of the bun.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve immediately while hot and enjoy your messy, flavorful Hurricane Katrina Burgers!
