Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Espresso
Brew the espresso and allow it to cool. If desired, mix in coffee liqueur.
- 2
Soak the Ladyfingers
Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the cooled espresso, making sure not to soak them too long. Layer them in the bottom of a rectangular dish.
- 3
Make the Mascarpone Mixture
In a mixing bowl, combine mascarpone cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and creamy.
- 4
Whip the Cream
In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Carefully fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until combined.
- 5
Layer the Tiramisu
Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the layer of soaked ladyfingers. Add another layer of soaked ladyfingers on top, followed by the remaining mascarpone mixture.
- 6
Chill
Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- 7
Serve
Before serving, dust the top with cocoa powder and slice into squares.
