Prepare the Glass
Fill an old-fashioned glass with ice cubes to chill.
Mix the Ingredients
In a mixing glass, add the Demerara sugar and Angostura bitters. Muddle them together until the sugar dissolves.
Add the Rums
Pour in the Zacapa Rum 23 and Old Forester Bourbon. Fill the mixing glass with ice and stir well for about 30 seconds.
Strain and Serve
Strain the mixture into the prepared old-fashioned glass over the ice.
Top with Iron Beer
Add the Iron Beer on top of the drink, giving it a gentle stir to combine.
Garnish
Express the oils from the orange peel over the drink and drop it in as a garnish.
