Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Noodles

Bring a large pot of water to boil. Add the Lo Mein noodles and cook according to package instructions, usually about 4-5 minutes. Drain and set aside.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Pork

In a bowl, combine sliced pork, 2 tablespoons soy sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Mix well and let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Stir-Fry the Pork

Heat a large wok or skillet over medium-high heat. Add a tablespoon of oil. Once hot, add the marinated pork and stir-fry until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the pork from the pan and set aside.

  2. 4

    Cook the Vegetables

In the same wok, add a bit more oil if needed. Add the sliced bell pepper, julienned carrot, and snow peas. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.

  3. 5

    Combine Everything

Return the cooked pork to the wok with the vegetables. Add the cooked noodles and toss everything together.

Saucing

  1. 6

    Prepare the Sauce

In a small bowl, mix together 3 tablespoons soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, water, and sugar to create the sauce.

  2. 7

    Finish the Dish

Pour the sauce over the noodle mixture in the wok. Toss everything together until evenly coated and heated through, about 2-3 minutes.

  3. 8

    Garnish and Serve

Top with chopped green onions before serving.
