Beef Marinade

Sauce

Main Ingredients

Method

Marinating the Beef

  1. 1

    Prepare the Beef

In a medium bowl, combine the sliced beef, soy sauce, cornstarch, and sesame oil. Mix well to ensure the beef is fully coated. Cover and let marinate for at least 30 minutes at room temperature.

Making the Sauce

  1. 2

    Combine Sauce Ingredients

In a small saucepan, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, minced ginger, red pepper flakes, and water. Stir well and bring to a simmer over medium heat. Allow to cook for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened, then remove from heat and set aside.

Cooking the Beef

  1. 3

    Cook the Beef

Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef in a single layer and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until browned and cooked through. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.

  2. 4

    Add Green Onions

In the same skillet, add the sliced green onions and stir-fry for about 1-2 minutes until they are tender but still vibrant in color.

Combining Everything

  1. 5

    Combine Beef and Sauce

Return the cooked beef to the skillet with the green onions. Pour the prepared sauce over the beef and onions, stirring to combine. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through.

  2. 6

    Serve

To serve, place a generous portion of crispy fried noodles on a plate and top with the Mongolian beef mixture. Enjoy your meal!
