Making the Hunan Sauce

Combine Sauce Ingredients
In a small bowl, mix together Hunan chili sauce, rice vinegar, minced garlic, minced ginger, cornstarch, and water until smooth.

Add Sesame Oil
Stir in the sesame oil into the sauce mixture and set aside.
Cooking

Stir-Fry the Beef
Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and cook for 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.

Cook the Vegetables
In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil, then add the bell pepper, broccoli, and carrot. Stir-fry for about 4-5 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.

Combine Beef and Sauce
Return the cooked beef to the skillet with the vegetables. Pour the Hunan sauce over the mixture and stir well to combine. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly and coats the beef and vegetables.

Serve the Hunan Beef hot over steamed rice or noodles, garnished with sesame seeds if desired.
