Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Shrimp
Rinse the shrimp under cold water and pat them dry with a paper towel. Season with salt and black pepper evenly on both sides.
- 2
Chop the Vegetables
Dice the green bell pepper into bite-sized pieces. Mince the garlic cloves finely.
- 3
Mix the Sauce
In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, and lime juice. Stir well until the honey is dissolved.
Cooking
- 4
Cook the Shrimp
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the seasoned shrimp and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
- 5
Sauté the Vegetables
In the same skillet, add the diced green bell pepper and sauté for about 2-3 minutes until they soften. Add the minced garlic and red chili flakes, cooking for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- 6
Combine and Serve
Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet, pour the sauce over the mixture, and toss to combine. Cook for another 1-2 minutes to heat through. Serve hot.
