Method
Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Marinade
In a bowl, combine the olive oil, soy sauce, honey, minced garlic cloves, black pepper, and salt. Whisk together until the mixture is well blended.
- 2
Marinate the Pork
Place the pork loin in a large resealable bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the pork, ensuring it is well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish, and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight for better flavor.
Cooking
- 3
Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
- 4
Sear the Pork
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add a little olive oil. Remove the pork from the marinade (reserve the marinade) and sear it for about 4-5 minutes on each side until browned.
- 5
Bake the Pork
Transfer the seared pork to a baking dish. Pour the reserved marinade over the pork. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 70°C (160°F).
- 6
Rest the Pork
Once cooked, remove the pork from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
Serving
- 7
Garnish and Serve
Slice the pork and arrange it on a serving platter. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley. Serve with your choice of sides, such as roasted vegetables or rice.
