Egg Drop Soup

Pork Fried Rice

Method

Egg Drop Soup

  1. 1

    Prepare the Broth

In a pot, bring the chicken broth to a gentle boil over medium heat.

  2. 2

    Mix Cornstarch

In a small bowl, mix cornstarch with water until smooth. Gradually add this mixture to the boiling broth while stirring continuously.

  3. 3

    Add Eggs

Whisk the eggs in a bowl. Slowly drizzle the eggs into the soup while stirring to create ribbons of egg.

  4. 4

    Season the Soup

Add soy sauce, salt, and white pepper. Stir in the chopped green onions. Remove from heat.

Egg Roll

  1. 5

    Prepare the Filling

In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground pork until browned. Add cabbage, carrots, garlic, and soy sauce. Cook until vegetables are tender.

  2. 6

    Wrap the Egg Rolls

Lay an egg roll wrapper flat. Place 2 tablespoons of filling in the center. Fold the sides over and roll tightly. Seal edges with water.

  3. 7

    Fry the Egg Rolls

In a deep pan, heat vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C). Fry the egg rolls until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes. Drain on paper towels.

Pork Fried Rice

  1. 8

    Cook the Pork

In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add ground pork and cook until browned.

  2. 9

    Add Vegetables

Stir in onions, carrots, and green peas. Cook for 3-4 minutes until vegetables are tender.

  3. 10

    Add Rice and Eggs

Add cooked rice to the skillet. Push the mixture to one side, crack eggs into the other side, and scramble until fully cooked.

  4. 11

    Season and Serve

Mix everything together and add soy sauce. Stir well and serve hot.

Almond Chicken

  1. 12

    Cook the Chicken

In a skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Add diced chicken and cook until browned.

  2. 13

    Add Vegetables

Stir in garlic, broccoli, and bell pepper. Cook until vegetables are tender.

  3. 14

    Add Almonds and Sauce

Stir in slivered almonds and soy sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.

  4. 15

    Serve

Remove from heat and serve hot over rice or noodles.

Chicken Lo-Mein

  1. 16

    Cook the Noodles

Boil lo-mein noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  2. 17

    Cook the Chicken

In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil. Add sliced chicken and cook until no longer pink.
