Pork Fried Rice

Method

Egg Drop Soup

  1. 1

    Prepare the Broth

In a pot, bring the chicken broth to a simmer over medium heat.

  2. 2

    Mix Cornstarch

In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch with water until smooth. Stir this mixture into the simmering broth.

  3. 3

    Add Eggs

Whisk the eggs in a bowl and slowly pour them into the broth while stirring gently to create egg ribbons.

  4. 4

    Season the Soup

Add soy sauce, salt, and white pepper to taste. Stir in the chopped green onions.

  5. 5

    Serve

Remove from heat and serve hot.

Egg Roll

  1. 6

    Prepare Filling

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground pork until browned. Stir in the shredded cabbage, carrots, green onions, soy sauce, and salt. Cook until the vegetables are tender.

  2. 7

    Assemble Egg Rolls

Take an egg roll wrapper, place a spoonful of filling on it, and roll it tightly, sealing the edges with water.

  3. 8

    Fry the Egg Rolls

In a deep pot, heat oil to 350°F (175°C). Fry the egg rolls in batches until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes. Drain on paper towels.

  4. 9

    Serve

Serve hot with sweet and sour sauce or soy sauce.

  2. 11

    Add Vegetables

Stir in the diced carrots and green peas, and cook for 2-3 minutes.

  3. 12

    Scramble Eggs

Push the mixture to one side of the skillet, crack the eggs into the empty side, and scramble until cooked.

  4. 13

    Combine Ingredients

Add the cooked rice and soy sauce. Mix everything together and cook for another 2-3 minutes. Season with salt and stir in chopped green onions before serving.

  5. 14

Serve hot as a side or main dish.

Sweet & Sour Pork

  1. 15

    Prepare Sauce

In a skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Add cubed pork and cook until browned.

  3. 17

    Add Vegetables and Sauce

Stir in chopped bell pepper and pineapple chunks, then pour the sauce over the top. Cook until heated through.

  4. 18

    Thicken Sauce

Mix cornstarch with a little water to create a slurry, then add it to the skillet to thicken the sauce.

  5. 19
