Method

Cooking Noodles

  1. 1

    Boil Water

In a large pot, bring 2 liters of water to a boil over high heat. Add 1 tsp of salt to the water.

  2. 2

    Cook Noodles

Once the water is boiling, add 200g of dried egg noodles. Stir occasionally and cook for about 6-8 minutes or until al dente. Drain the noodles and set aside.

Preparing Sauce

  1. 3

    Mix Sauce Ingredients

In a small bowl, combine 4 tbs of soy sauce, 1 tbs of sesame oil, 2 minced garlic cloves, 1 tbs of minced ginger, 1 tsp of sugar, 1 tbs of cornstarch, and 2 tbs of water. Whisk until smooth and set aside.

Stir-Frying

  1. 4

    Stir-Fry Vegetables (Optional)

In a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat, add a little oil and stir-fry 1 cup of sliced bell pepper, 1 cup of julienned carrot, and 0.5 cup of sliced green onion for about 3-4 minutes until they are tender but still crisp.

  2. 5

    Combine Noodles and Sauce

Add the cooked noodles to the skillet with the vegetables. Pour the sauce mixture over the noodles and stir well to combine, ensuring that the noodles are evenly coated. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
