Method

Preparation

1

Prepare the Sauce

In a bowl, mix the soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, minced garlic, minced ginger, beef broth, sesame oil, and sugar until well combined. Set aside.

2

Prepare the Beef

Thinly slice the beef sirloin against the grain and set aside.

3

Prepare the Broccoli

Wash the broccoli and cut it into small florets. Blanch in boiling water for 2 minutes, then drain and set aside.

Cooking

4

Stir-Fry the Beef

In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced beef and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.

5

Stir-Fry the Broccoli

In the same skillet, add the blanched broccoli and stir-fry for 2 minutes. Return the beef to the skillet.

6

Combine and Sauce

Pour the prepared sauce over the beef and broccoli in the skillet. Toss everything together and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the beef and broccoli.
