Shrimp Parmigiana Ingredients

Method

Cooking Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Shrimp

In a bowl, beat the eggs. In another bowl, place the flour. In a third bowl, place the bread crumbs. Dip each shrimp first in the flour, then in the eggs, and finally in the bread crumbs.

  2. 2

    Cook the Shrimp

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the breaded shrimp and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Sauce

In the same skillet, pour in the tomato sauce and bring to a simmer. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

  4. 4

    Combine and Bake

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). In a baking dish, layer the shrimp, then pour the tomato sauce over them. Top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. Bake for 15-20 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

  5. 5

    Cook the Spaghetti

While the shrimp is baking, cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve the shrimp parmigiana hot over a bed of spaghetti, garnished with fresh basil.
