1. Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

2. Cook Sausages

In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and cook the Italian sausage links until browned on all sides, about 8-10 minutes. Remove from heat.

3. Prepare Sauce

In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Pour in the tomato sauce, add salt, black pepper, and fresh basil. Let it simmer for 5 minutes.

4. Assemble Dish

In a baking dish, spread a thin layer of the tomato sauce mixture on the bottom. Place the sausage links on top and pour the remaining sauce over them.

5. Add Cheese

Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese evenly on top of the sausages and sauce.

6. Bake

Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

7. Serve
