Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Chop the plum tomatoes into small pieces. Mince the garlic and set aside.

  2. 2

    Heat the Olive Oil

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.

  3. 3

    Sauté the Garlic

Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant but not browned.

  4. 4

    Add Tomatoes and Wine

Add the chopped plum tomatoes to the skillet, followed by the white wine. Stir well to combine.

  5. 5

    Simmer the Sauce

Allow the mixture to simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally until the tomatoes are softened.

  6. 6

    Incorporate Marinara

Stir in the marinara sauce and let it simmer for an additional 5 minutes.

  7. 7

    Season the Sauce

Add salt and black pepper to taste. Stir well.

    Finish with Fresh Basil

Remove from heat and stir in the fresh basil leaves just before serving.
