Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Chop the fresh tomatoes, slice the mushrooms, and mince the garlic. If using canned artichoke hearts, drain and rinse them.

  2. 2

    Sauté the Vegetables

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

  3. 3

    Add Mushrooms and Tomatoes

Add the sliced mushrooms and chopped tomatoes to the skillet. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until the tomatoes soften.

  4. 4

    Incorporate Artichokes and Olives

Stir in the artichoke hearts and black olives, cooking for another 3-4 minutes.

  5. 5

    Deglaze with White Wine

Pour in the white wine and let it simmer for about 2-3 minutes, allowing the alcohol to cook off.

  6. 6

    Add Marinara Sauce

Stir in the marinara sauce, salt, and black pepper. Let the mixture simmer on low for about 10 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.

  7. 7

    Finish with Fresh Basil

Remove from heat and stir in the fresh chopped basil just before serving.
