Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Noodles

Bring a pot of water to a boil, add the chow mein noodles, and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Pork

Slice the pork tenderloin into thin strips. In a bowl, combine the pork slices with soy sauce and sesame oil. Let marinate for at least 15 minutes.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Stir-fry the Pork

In a large wok or frying pan, heat a tablespoon of oil over medium-high heat. Add the marinated pork and stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes, or until cooked through. Remove the pork from the pan and set aside.

  2. 4

    Cook the Vegetables

In the same pan, add a little more oil if needed, then add garlic, ginger, bell pepper, carrot, and snow peas. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.

  3. 5

    Combine Everything

Return the cooked pork to the pan with the vegetables. Add the cooked chow mein noodles, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and water. Toss everything together and stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes to combine and heat through.

  4. 6

    Finish and Serve

Garnish with chopped green onions, serve hot, and enjoy your Pork Chow Mein!
