Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, and black pepper until well combined.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Pork

Place the pork tenderloin in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the pork, ensuring it's well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Cook the Pork

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Remove the pork from the marinade, letting any excess drip off. Cook the pork for about 6-8 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C). Let the pork rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

  2. 4

    Sauté the Vegetables

In a large skillet, add a bit of oil over medium heat. Add sliced bell pepper, chopped green onions, and julienned carrots. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes, until the vegetables are tender but still crisp.

Assembly

  1. 5

    Combine and Serve

Slice the cooked pork into medallions. In a serving dish, layer the sautéed vegetables and top with the sliced pork. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped cilantro. Serve immediately.
