Shrimp Marinade

Method

Shrimp Marinade Preparation

  1. 1

    Combine Marinade Ingredients

In a medium bowl, combine the soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, mandarin juice, and red pepper flakes.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Shrimp

Add the shrimp to the marinade, ensuring they are fully coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to enhance the flavor.

Cooking the Dish

  1. 3

    Heat Oil

In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.

  2. 4

    Cook the Shrimp

Remove the shrimp from the marinade (keeping the marinade) and add them to the hot skillet. Cook for about 2-3 minutes or until the shrimp turn pink and are cooked through.

  3. 5

    Add Marinade and Mandarin Segments

Pour the reserved marinade into the skillet and add the mandarin segments. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until everything is heated through.

  4. 6

    Serve

Serve the shrimp mixture over cooked rice, garnished with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
