Method
Preparation
- 1
Marinate the Pork
In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Add the pork tenderloin and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- 2
Prepare Broccoli
While the pork is marinating, wash and cut broccoli into florets. Set aside.
Cooking
- 3
Cook the Pork
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Remove the pork from the marinade and sear in the skillet for about 4-5 minutes on each side until browned. Remove from skillet and let rest.
- 4
Sauté the Broccoli
In the same skillet, add the broccoli florets. Stir-fry for about 4-5 minutes until they are tender-crisp.
- 5
Make the Sauce
In a small bowl, mix cornstarch with a few tablespoons of water to create a slurry. Add the remaining marinade to the skillet with the broccoli and bring to a simmer. Stir in the cornstarch slurry and cook until the sauce thickens.
- 6
Combine and Serve
Slice the pork tenderloin and return it to the skillet with the broccoli and sauce. Toss everything together to coat and heat through. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions if desired.
