Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Noodles

Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add chow mein noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Beef

In a bowl, combine the sliced beef with 1 tablespoon of soy sauce and a pinch of black pepper. Let it marinate for about 15 minutes.

  3. 3

    Stir-Fry the Vegetables

Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and ginger, sautéing for 30 seconds until fragrant. Add sliced bell pepper and julienned carrot, stir-frying for about 3-4 minutes until vegetables are slightly tender. Remove vegetables from the skillet and set aside.

  4. 4

    Cook the Beef

In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry for 3-5 minutes until browned and cooked through. Make sure to break up any clumps.

  5. 5

    Combine Ingredients

Return the sautéed vegetables to the skillet with the beef. Add cooked chow mein noodles, remaining soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper. Toss everything together, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.

  6. 6

    Garnish and Serve

Remove the skillet from heat. Garnish with sliced green onions. Serve hot and enjoy your beef chow mein!
