Fries

Method

Fries Preparation

  1. 1

    Cut and Soak Potatoes

Wash and cut the Russet potatoes into fries. Soak them in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch.

  2. 2

    Dry and Fry Potatoes

Drain and dry the soaked potatoes thoroughly. Heat the vegetable oil in a deep fryer or a large pot to 350°F (175°C). Fry the potatoes in batches until golden and crispy, about 5-7 minutes per batch.

  3. 3

    Season and Serve

Remove the fries from the oil and drain on paper towels. While still hot, sprinkle with salt and drizzle with malt vinegar. Serve immediately.

Garlic Aioli Preparation

  1. 4

    Mix Aioli Ingredients

In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, minced garlic, lemon juice, and salt. Mix well until smooth. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

Truffle Fries Preparation

  1. 5

    Add Truffle Oil

Once the fries are cooked and seasoned, drizzle with truffle oil and toss to coat evenly.

  2. 6

    Garnish

Top the fries with grated Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley before serving.
