Preparation

Prepare the Glass
Place the sugar cube in an old-fashioned glass and add the Angostura bitters over it. Muddle together until the sugar is dissolved.

Mix the Bourbons
In a mixing glass filled with ice, combine Michter’s Small Batch Bourbon, Old Forester 1897 Bourbon, and Angel’s Envy Rye.

Stir
Stir the mixture gently for about 30 seconds until well chilled.

Strain
Strain the bourbon mixture into the prepared old-fashioned glass over the muddled sugar and bitters.

Garnish
Express the oils from the orange peel over the drink and drop it in as a garnish.
