Rinse the mussels under cold water, scrub the shells, and remove any beards. Discard any mussels that are open and do not close when tapped.

Add Liquids
Pour in the dry white wine and chicken broth, and bring the mixture to a simmer.

Cook Mussels
Add the cleaned mussels to the pot, cover, and cook for 5-7 minutes or until the mussels have opened. Discard any mussels that have not opened.

Stir in chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper. Serve immediately with crusty bread to soak up the broth.
