Marinade

Lamb Skewers

Method

Marinade Preparation

  1. 1

    Mix Marinade Ingredients

In a medium bowl, combine Greek yogurt, olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, oregano, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Whisk until smooth and well blended.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Lamb

Add the cubed lamb to the marinade. Make sure all pieces are well coated. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or up to overnight for maximum flavor.

Skewering and Grilling

  1. 3

    Prepare Skewers

If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes to prevent burning on the grill.

  2. 4

    Assemble Skewers

Thread the marinated lamb cubes onto the soaked skewers, leaving a little space between each piece for even cooking.

  3. 5

    Grill the Skewers

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the lamb is browned and cooked to your desired level of doneness.

Serving

  1. 6

    Prepare Toppings

While the lamb is grilling, prepare the toppings. Halve the cherry tomatoes, slice the red onion, and chop the fresh parsley.

  2. 7

    Serve

Once the lamb skewers are done, remove them from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes. Serve topped with fresh cherry tomatoes, sliced red onion, and chopped parsley.
