Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Rub

In a bowl, combine brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt to create a dry rub.

  2. 2

    Rub the Ribs

Generously rub the dry mixture all over the imported pork ribs. Ensure that the ribs are well-coated. Let them sit for at least 1 hour, or preferably overnight in the refrigerator.

  3. 3

    Braising the Ribs

In a large pot, combine apple cider vinegar and water. Place the ribs in the pot and bring to a simmer. Cover and let braise for about 2 hours until tender.

  4. 4

    Grilling the Ribs

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Remove the ribs from the pot and discard the braising liquid. Place the ribs on the grill and brush with BBQ sauce. Grill for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally and basting with more sauce until caramelized.

  5. 5

    Serve

Remove the ribs from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes. Cut into individual portions and serve with additional BBQ sauce on the side.
