Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Dough
Preheat your oven to the highest setting (usually around 475°F to 500°F or 245°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven to heat.
- 2
Shape the Pizza
On a floured surface, stretch the pizza dough into a round shape, about 12 inches in diameter. Transfer it to a pizza peel or a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- 3
Add Sauce and Cheese
Spread the San Marzano tomato sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border for the crust. Tear the fresh mozzarella into pieces and scatter them over the sauce.
- 4
Add Toppings
Add your choice of topping on one half of the pizza or evenly distribute it over the whole pie based on your preference.
- 5
Drizzle and Season
Drizzle olive oil over the top and sprinkle with salt. Add fresh basil leaves for extra flavor.
- 6
Bake the Pizza
Carefully slide the pizza onto the hot pizza stone or place the baking sheet in the oven. Bake for about 10-12 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
- 7
Serve
Once baked, remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a minute. Slice and serve hot.
