Preparation Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the hickory smoked bacon until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  2. 2

    Cook the Burgers

Season the Angus beef patties with salt and black pepper. Grill or pan-fry the patties over medium-high heat for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired doneness.

  3. 3

    Melt the Cheese

During the last minute of cooking, top each burger with a generous scoop of pimento cheese and cover to allow the cheese to melt.

  4. 4

    Toast the Buns

While the burgers are cooking, toast the brioche buns on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Burgers

Spread basil mayo on the bottom half of each toasted bun. Place the burger patty with melted pimento cheese on top. Add crispy bacon and a handful of fried onion strings. Top with the other half of the bun.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve the burgers hot with your favorite side dishes.
