Prepare the Rim
Crush the vanilla wafers into fine crumbs. Drizzle caramel sauce on the rim of the glass and dip it into the crushed vanilla wafers to coat the rim.

Mix the Drink
In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine the vanilla vodka, fresh lime juice, and simple syrup. Shake well until chilled.

Strain and Serve
Strain the mixture into the prepared glass filled with fresh ice. Optionally, drizzle a little caramel sauce on top for garnish.
