The Hugh Jass Waffle Burger Recipe

Prepare the Waffle Batter
In a mixing bowl, combine buttermilk pancake mix, eggs, and water. Stir until smooth.

Cook the Waffles
Preheat a waffle iron and lightly grease it with butter. Pour the waffle batter into the waffle iron and cook according to the manufacturer's instructions until golden brown. Remove and set aside.

Cook the Bacon
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon strips until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.

In the same skillet, cook the blueberry sausage link until browned and fully cooked. Slice it into rounds.

Place one waffle on a plate. Layer with bacon, cheddar cheese, sliced sausage, and a sunny-side up egg. Top with another waffle.
