This hugh-jass burger is topped with bacon, cheddar cheese, local blueberry sausage and a sunny-side up egg. It’s stuffed between two deep-fried, buttermilk waffles and smothered in maple syrup and a shimmy of powdered sugar.

    Prepare the Waffle Batter

    In a mixing bowl, combine buttermilk pancake mix, eggs, and water. Stir until smooth.

    Preheat a waffle iron and lightly grease it with butter. Pour the waffle batter into the waffle iron and cook according to the manufacturer's instructions until golden brown. Remove and set aside.

    In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon strips until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.

    In the same skillet, cook the blueberry sausage link until browned and fully cooked. Slice it into rounds.
