Marinate the Pickles
In a bowl, combine the dill pickle chips and amber ale. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes.

Prepare the Breading
In a shallow dish, mix together the flour, cornmeal, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.

Coat the Pickles
Remove the pickle chips from the marinade and dip each chip into the egg wash, then coat them in the breading mixture.

Heat Oil
In a deep skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

Fry the Pickles
Fry the coated pickle chips in batches for about 2-3 minutes or until golden brown. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Serve
Serve hot with ranch dressing on the side for dipping.
