Prepare the Chicken
In a bowl, mix the buttermilk, egg, salt, and black pepper. Add the chicken breasts and marinate for at least 30 minutes.

Fry the Chicken
Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet over medium-high heat. Remove chicken from buttermilk mixture, allowing excess to drip off. Dredge in the flour and cornmeal mixture until well coated. Fry each chicken breast for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Cook the Bacon
In a skillet, cook the bacon until crispy. Drain on paper towels.

Assemble the Sandwich
On the bottom half of the bun, layer the fried chicken, bacon, lettuce, pickles, and pepper jack cheese. Drizzle with Slap YO’ Mama sauce, then top with the other half of the bun.
