Churros Ingredients
Method
Churros Directions
- 1
- 2
Add Eggs
Incorporate eggs one at a time into the cooled dough, mixing well after each addition until fully combined.
- 3
Heat the Oil
In a deep frying pan or pot, heat vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C). You can test the temperature by dropping a small piece of dough into the oil; it should sizzle immediately.
- 4
Pipe the Churros
Transfer the churro dough to a piping bag fitted with a star tip. Carefully pipe long strips of dough directly into the hot oil, cutting them to your desired length with kitchen scissors.
- 5
Fry Until Golden
Fry the churros for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Remove them from the oil and drain on paper towels.
- 6
Dust with Sugar
In a bowl, mix granulated sugar and ground cinnamon. While the churros are still warm, roll them in the cinnamon-sugar mixture until well coated.
- 7
Serve
Serve the churros warm with chocolate sauce or your favorite dipping sauce.
