Method

Prepare the Base

  1. 1

    Rinse and Cook Sushi Rice

Rinse the sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear. Combine the rinsed rice and water in a rice cooker and cook according to the rice cooker's instructions, or bring to a boil in a pot, then reduce to low heat, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes. Remove from heat and let it sit for 10 minutes.

Prepare the Protein

  1. 2

    Prepare Ahi Tuna

While the rice is cooking, cut the fresh Ahi tuna into bite-sized cubes. In a medium bowl, mix the soy sauce, sesame oil, and sliced green onions. Add the cubed tuna to the bowl and gently toss until the tuna is evenly coated. Let it marinate for about 10 minutes.

Assemble the Poke Bowl

  1. 3

    Layer Ingredients

Once the sushi rice is cooked and slightly cooled, divide it among serving bowls. Top each bowl with the marinated Ahi tuna, sliced avocado, diced cucumber, seaweed salad, sliced radish, and pickled ginger. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top for garnish.
