Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Chop the onion, garlic, carrots, and potatoes into small pieces.

  2. 2

    Cook the Beef

In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.

  3. 3

    Add Vegetables

Add the chopped onion and garlic to the pot. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until the onion is translucent. Then add the carrots and potatoes.

  4. 4

    Simmer the Stew

Pour in the beef broth, add the tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, thyme, and bay leaf. Stir well. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let simmer for 30-40 minutes until the vegetables are tender.

  5. 5

    Final Touches

Remove the bay leaf before serving. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. Serve warm.
