Preparation and Cooking
Prepare the Chicken/Cauliflower
In a large bowl, mix the all-purpose flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Add water gradually until you have a smooth batter.
Coat the Chicken/Cauliflower
Dip the chicken wings or cauliflower florets into the batter, ensuring they are evenly coated.
Heat the Oil
Heat the vegetable oil in a deep-fryer or large pot to 180°C (350°F).
Fry the Chicken/Cauliflower
Carefully place the coated chicken or cauliflower into the hot oil in batches. Fry for 8-10 minutes until golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
Toss in Sauce
In a large bowl, toss the fried chicken or cauliflower with sweet chili sauce until well coated.
