Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Rice

In a pot, rinse the rice until the water runs clear. Add coconut milk and 1 cup of water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes until rice is cooked and liquid is absorbed.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Potatoes

Peel and cut the potatoes into fries. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat and fry the potatoes until golden and crispy. Drain on paper towels and season with salt.

  3. 3

    Cook the Steak

Thinly slice the sirloin steak. In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil over high heat. Add the steak and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

  4. 4

    Sauté Vegetables

In the same skillet, add the remaining oil, garlic, onions, and bell pepper. Sauté until the vegetables are tender, about 5 minutes.

  5. 5

    Combine Ingredients

Return the cooked steak to the skillet with the vegetables. Add soy sauce, teriyaki sauce, salt, and pepper. Stir-fry everything together for an additional 2-3 minutes.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve the stir-fried beef and vegetables over a bed of coconut rice, with crispy fries on the side.
