Rinse the Edamame
Place the edamame in a colander and rinse under cold running water to remove any dirt or debris.

Boil Water
Fill a large pot with water, about 4-5 cups, and bring it to a rolling boil over high heat.

Cook Edamame
Once the water is boiling, add the rinsed edamame to the pot. Cook for about 5-6 minutes until the edamame are tender but still firm.

Drain and Season
Using a colander, drain the edamame and transfer them to a serving bowl. Sprinkle with sea salt while the edamame are still hot, tossing to coat evenly.

Serve
Serve the edamame warm or at room temperature. Provide a small bowl for discarded pods.
