Preparation of Edamame

Boil the Edamame
In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add 2 cups of edamame beans and 1 tsp of salt. Cook for 4-5 minutes until the beans are tender but still firm.

Drain and Cool
Once cooked, drain the edamame in a colander and rinse under cold water to stop the cooking process. Set aside to cool.
Preparing the Togarashi Dressing

Mix the Seasoning
In a small bowl, combine 2 tbs of togarashi spice blend, 1 tbs of sesame oil, 1 tsp of lemon zest, 1 tbs of lemon juice, and 1 minced garlic clove. Stir well until all ingredients are evenly mixed.
Combining Edamame and Seasoning

Toss the Edamame
In a large mixing bowl, add the cooled edamame beans and pour the togarashi dressing over them. Toss gently to coat the beans evenly with the seasoning.
Serving
