Prepare the Bruschetta Base

Slice the Baguette
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice the baguette diagonally into 1/2 inch thick slices.

Toast the Bread
Arrange the sliced baguette on a baking sheet. Drizzle olive oil over the slices, then toast in the preheated oven for 5-7 minutes, or until golden brown.

Rub with Garlic
Once toasted, remove the bread from the oven and immediately rub the tops with the cut sides of the garlic cloves for added flavor.
Prepare the Tomato Topping

Chop the Tomatoes
Dice the fresh tomatoes into small pieces and place them in a mixing bowl.

Add Basil and Season
Chop the fresh basil leaves and add them to the bowl with the tomatoes. Add balsamic vinegar, salt, and black pepper to taste. Mix everything gently to combine.
Assemble the Bruschetta

Spoon the tomato and basil mixture generously onto each toasted baguette slice, ensuring an even distribution.
