Fried Deviled Eggs

Method

Preparation Instructions

  1. 1

    Boil the Eggs

Place eggs in a pot and cover with cold water. Bring to a boil, then cover and remove from heat. Let sit for 12 minutes, then transfer to ice water and let cool.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Filling

Once cooled, peel the eggs and cut them in half lengthwise. Remove the yolks and place them in a bowl. Mash the yolks with mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, nduja sausage, salt, and pepper until smooth.

  3. 3

    Stuff the Eggs

Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg whites. Top with house giardiniera.

  4. 4

    Bread the Eggs

In a shallow dish, spread the breadcrumbs. Dip each stuffed egg half into the breadcrumbs until coated.

  5. 5

    Fry the Eggs

Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, fry the breaded eggs for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.

  6. 6

    Serve

Drain on paper towels and serve warm with 1000 Island dressing drizzled over the top and a sprinkle of paprika.
