General Tso's Pork Belly

Method

Cooking Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Pork Belly

Cut the pork belly into bite-sized cubes. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, cornstarch, garlic, ginger, and chili paste. Add the pork belly cubes to the marinade and let sit for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Stir-fry the Pork Belly

In a large skillet or wok, heat sesame oil over medium-high heat. Add the marinated pork belly and stir-fry until crispy and cooked through, about 10-15 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.

  3. 3

    Prepare Stir-Fried Vegetables

In the same skillet, add your choice of vegetables (like bell peppers, broccoli, and snap peas) and stir-fry for 5-7 minutes until tender but still crisp.

  4. 4

    Combine and Serve

Return the pork belly to the skillet with the vegetables. Stir to combine and heat through for another 2-3 minutes. Serve hot over steamed rice.
