Ingredients for Bacon & Cheese Loaded Fries

Method

Directions for Preparing Bacon & Cheese Loaded Fries

  1. 1

    Cook the French Fries

Preheat your oven according to the package instructions for the frozen French fries. Spread them out on a baking sheet and bake until golden and crispy, usually around 20-25 minutes.

  2. 2

    Cook the Bacon

While the fries are baking, cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove from the skillet, drain on paper towels, and chop into small pieces.

  3. 3

    Add Cheese and Bacon

Once the fries are cooked, remove them from the oven and immediately sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese and chopped bacon evenly over the top. Return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.

  4. 4

    Prepare for Serving

Remove the loaded fries from the oven. If desired, sprinkle chopped green onions over the top for garnish. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

  5. 5

    Serve

Serve the bacon and cheese loaded fries hot with ranch dressing on the side for dipping.
