Preparation
- 1
Marinate the Steak
In a bowl, combine olive oil, lime juice, garlic powder, cumin, chili powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to create a marinade.
- 2
Prepare the Steak
Place the flank steak in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish and pour the marinade over it. Seal the bag or cover the dish and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.

Cook the Steak
Heat a large skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Remove the steak from the marinade and discard the marinade. Cook the steak for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness is reached.
- 5
Rest the Steak
Once cooked, transfer the steak to a cutting board and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing it against the grain into thin strips.

- 7
Warm the Tortillas
While the vegetables are cooking, warm the tortillas in a separate skillet or microwave until they are pliable.

To serve, place some of the sliced steak and sautéed vegetables on a warm tortilla. Add optional toppings like sour cream, shredded cheese, guacamole, and fresh cilantro as desired.
