Method

Prepare the Pasta

1

Cook the Pasta

In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the linguine or spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Prepare the Lobster

2

Cook the Lobster

In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add the fresh lobster and cook for about 8-10 minutes until the lobster is bright red and cooked through. Remove the lobster from the pot and let it cool. Once cool, remove the meat from the shell and chop into bite-sized pieces.

3

Sauté the Lobster

In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chopped lobster meat and sauté for about 2-3 minutes until heated through. Set aside.

Make the Creamy Sauce

4

Prepare the Sauce

In the same skillet used for the lobster, add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, fresh basil, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Mix well and let it simmer for 3-5 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.

Combine and Serve

5

Combine Pasta and Sauce

Add the drained pasta to the skillet with the creamy sauce. Toss gently to combine and ensure the pasta is well coated. If the sauce is too thick, add a splash of pasta water to loosen it.

6

Serve

Plate the lobster pasta, garnishing with extra basil or Parmesan if desired. Serve immediately.
