Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) to ensure it's hot enough for baking the cakes.

Melt Chocolate and Butter
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the dark chocolate and unsalted butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until completely melted and smooth.

Mix in Sugar and Eggs
Add the powdered sugar to the melted chocolate mixture and stir until fully combined. Then, add the large eggs and egg yolks, mixing well until smooth. Stir in the vanilla extract.

Incorporate Flour and Salt
Sift in the all-purpose flour and add a pinch of salt. Gently fold the mixture until just combined, being careful not to overmix.

Fill Ramekins
Divide the batter evenly among the prepared ramekins, filling each about 3/4 full.

Bake the Cakes
Place the ramekins on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 12-14 minutes, or until the edges are firm but the center is still soft.
Serving

Cool and Invert
Remove the cakes from the oven and let them cool for 1 minute. Carefully run a knife around the edges of each ramekin and invert onto a plate.

Serve immediately while warm, topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side.
