Prepare the Shrimp
In a large bowl, toss the shrimp with olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Set aside.

Sauté Peppers and Garlic
In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the minced garlic, jalapeño, and serrano peppers. Sauté for about 2-3 minutes until fragrant.

Cook the Shrimp
Increase the heat to medium-high and add the shrimp to the skillet. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until they are pink and opaque.

Serve
Remove from heat and serve the tequila shrimp over rice and black beans, garnished with lime wedges if desired.
