Prepare the Filling

Cook the Meat
In a skillet over medium heat, add the shredded chicken, ground beef, or beef brisket. Sprinkle with taco seasoning and cook until heated through and well combined.
Fry the Taco Shells

Heat Oil
In a large frying pan, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat.

Fry Tortillas
Once the oil is hot, carefully add a corn tortilla and fry until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes on each side. Remove and drain on paper towels. Repeat with remaining tortillas.
Assemble the Tacos

Fill and Top
Once the taco shells are crispy, fill each shell with the cooked meat. Top with shredded cheese, lettuce, and diced tomato.
